I can not believe the comments I am seeing about keep it green. Ray and Julie took me in when I was broke, homeless and had no family to even accept a phone call of mine. They have gone above and beyond for me and for many other that I have seen go through the program. Of course the success rate isn't at 100% and that's because the clients that constantly go through there have no willingness to change their life. Over 6 years ago I walked through the doors there and I lived there for about a year. They helped me get a job, get my life together and even drove me over 2 hours away for a important court date of mine. It's very simple if you get a job, follow the rules, and don't be disrespectful than your stay will be very easy there or at any other recovery house. York is hands down the best recovery house in york. Just because you may have had a bad experience with it doesn't give you any right to talk bad about them. They help people and they give people a place to stay when you have absolutely nowhere else to go. Do not listen to the bad reviews for them. They are all misperceptions due to the lack of willingness to change their life!!!!!!

I felt compelled to write this review after reading some of the negative ones on here. Recovery homes are what you make of them. I lived in keep in green homes for over 2 years. The owners took me in to their recovery house when I had nothing and nowhere left to go. They gave me rules to follow but also enough room to make mistakes. If you are serious about your recovery and are following the rules of the house they will go above and beyond to help you. Both of the owners even showed up at my court appearances to speak on my behalf I am forever grateful for everything that they have done and have continued to do even since moving on from their houses. I would recommend keep it green to anyone who is looking for a place to start to change their life for the better. Loved this place wish I could give it more stars.
