I gave it 5 stars because out of all the hospitals in Brooklyn "Kings County" choose to be the best hospital I ever been to and the doctors attend to you as fast as they can 💯

Best hospital I have been to. The service was excellent. The doctors and nurses were wonderful. Especially the nurses. Great care was given to me. I even cried when I was leaving because I felt like I was leaving family.

I too thought this was the worst hospital ever. it is very disorganized and a nightmare in which to work. I could never imagine being a patient there. 30 yrs and many hospitals later, I realised that the workload that these people are handling is being handled amazingly well. rude? remember, the staff are actually people. they are being challenged with an incredible workload. they are likely more frustrated than the clientele. they are getting it from the patients AND their supervisors. you may not know it but you are being served by people, well-meaning, knowledgeable, hard-working PEOPLE.

Our experience has been Excellent. Recently, our son had a seizure and all I can say is that from the ER , follow-up appointments, tests and the billing department , everyone has been professional, attentive and helpful. So helpful, and we are so grateful. The one thing I am disappointed in is not the hospital, but some of the other parents. While we were in the ER a baby was brought in and it was obvious that the child was in critical condition. It looked like the entire staff was surrounding the child and the mother was crying that the baby was not breathing. A few minutes later, I saw parents walking up to the main desk, with their child, in a gown, walking by their side, upset and complaining that no one had been following up with them. As a parent, have you no empathy? If most of the team is surrounding a baby that is in a serious situation, then wait! At least your child is walking around with you. That is not a moment to complain. That is a moment to be grateful that your child is breathing and for us to be patient and show compassion to others. Isn't that what you would want if you were that family?

I visited KingsCounty Hospital two times in the past two days. My experiences were very different. The first time I was with my mom in Adult ER. She was suffering from cold and allergy symptoms and lost her voice. The doctor, Dr. Stein was very caring to my mom. He gave her medication right away while he checked everything. Even made a joke about her class which made mom laugh. At the end we went to pharmacy and picked up 5 prescriptions to help mom get better. Mom was very pleased. Two days later we returned to the ER pediatric unit with my brother who had the same symptoms as mom. The doctor said not much was wrong with him. Dr. Paayal Bhakta said only allergies and gave one script. My brother eyes were itching, his throat was sore and he was coughing. His nose was very conjested and he was having trouble breathing. We left the ER without my brother getting proper treatment and had to go to another doctor for help. It was such a big difference the two days that I went to Kings County. It means that there is good and bad treatment and the hospital should work on improving the quality of care overall and for everyone. Every visit matters! Maybe those pediatric doctors need more training. Families in the community matter. Children are people too!

Then my cousin was there a little after, same service and then my aunt was there about a week or two ago. Me and my family was able to bring them outside food with no problem thank God
