My husband came for rehab after a stroke. We arrived and everyone spoke nicely...and that was it! The bed was too short and small. They ordered another one immediately but they only put him in in after hours of waiting and I said I’d do it myself! The floor was DIRTY with BLOOD splatters, food and debris!! I am so disappointed in the Henry Ford Health System. This rehab facility is HORRIBLE! I will write until I reach the TOP!! I am disgusted and disappointed . UPDATE: My husband has been here at HFH-Wyandotte since the 20th of August. I was so upset as you can see in the earlier post. Let me tell you how this hospital has turned our experience around. First of all Kenise the Concierge Coordinator found me and addressed EVERY need. She apologized and directed all concerns to the proper authorities. Gina the Patient Advocate was helpful as well addressing our concerns. My husband has had excellent care in Rehab. The staff is knowledgeable and caring. The social worker Chris has been behind the scenes working out insurance items. Mary on the Rehab floor has been helpful. I would like to say, THANK YOU to the Rehab 2nd floor Staff. My husband is walking (with help), using his right arm and hand and speaking in small sentences. It pays to speak up but it also takes a dedicated team to come together and fix a problem and turn things around! I’d recommend HFH-Wyandotte to anyone. Thank you Everyone!

I have been here twice in a week. The staff has been very professional. the Doctors was so refreshing. he sat next to me and calmly asked to tell him the whole story. He listened intently asking the right questions. I felt cared for and very safe. We moved back to Michigan from Texas and my prescriptions were reclassified in the way that they can be prescribed and by whom. I had also lost 90 pounds in a year. They checked me out, ran tests to confirm nothing serious but gave me a clear treatment plan to follow up later. As for continuing out of state care, I was sent from Dr to Dr and the ER at Henry Ford saved me twice from possible seizures and helped me with my next steps. Be honest they are compassionate.

My sister was a patient on the 6th floor observation unit. The nursing care was wonderful. I was very impressed by the staff.

Broke my ankle on a Friday, the ER was quick to see me and took good care of me. Ended up back in the ER on Sunday because my appendix decided it needed to come out, had surgery and spent the night. On Wednesday I came back for ankle surgery. This whole crappy week was made slightly less so by the great staff at the hospital. From the doctors, surgeons, nurses and even housekeeping. Everyone was extremely nice, answered every question we had and seemed to genuinely care about me. It made me feel a lot better considering the situation. All of this said, I hope I don't have to see all of you for a long time :)

I was just at HF Wyandotte (oct 25-27th) birthing center and had a wonderful experience. The nurses there were absolutely amazing! Cheryl, Amanda, and Cathy to name a few, made me feel as comfortable as possible and made my birthing experience relaxing. Thank you staff!

Had my baby girl here on Sept 20,2017 and got the best treatment. All of the nurse's and Doctor's were really nice to me and caring. I felt less nervous about my C Section because of them. I was constantly checked on. I would recommend anyone to have their baby here. The whole labor and delivery Staff, you guys are awesome and wonderful people.

I had a total knee replacement done there a couple of days ago. I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff was. Everyone I encountered was friendly knowledgeable and interested in helping me. If they didn't know the answer they went and found the answer and got back with me right away it was really a pleasure dealing with them even with something as difficult as surgery

Went to the ER after injuring both my ankles. The service was great from the x-ray technician to the nursing staff and doctor. The only thing that would make the experience better is if patients were told the cost of the durable medical equipment provided. I was billed $289 from Hart Medical after visit and the crutches and boot wouldn't have cost $80 if I ordered them from Amazon. Not HFHS fault but just suggesting more transparency if items are not covered under an individuals' ER copay.

The ER staff was wonderful I came in with a fungal infection in my skin which presented a few days prior and I was hospitalized at Beaumont but after 2 days of sitting in Beaumont hospital the doctor there were all scratching their heads and like idiots sent me home untreated...my condition grew worse so I decided to try Henery Ford the ER staff prescribed me 5 needed medications for the infection and its clearing up. Not wasting my time with Beumont ER again!

I am very pleased with this hospital. I have had to have two ER visits in a month! I broke my ankle and we drove right over from the park. They were swift and so caring! Everyone from the XRay Tech, to intake, the doctors and especially my nurse were so kind. I left a review with the institution itself and I hope that all of these people get their kudos. I have five kids and have spent my fair time in ERs. Other than Mott's in Ann Arbor this is the best. I will always choose this for my needs. The only reason I would choose Mott's is that my son has some specific issues and they have all the specialists available and all of his previous scans. I am so grateful that we moved to Wyandotte.

This review is on the maternity floor. I have delivered 3 children in this hospital. 2010, 2013 and 2017. The doctors and nurses on this floor are all amazing. I had one bad experience with a nurse and simply asked for a different nurse and got one right away. Always use your judgement, ask questions and be an advocate for yourself. Not a complaint here though!
